A child emerged unscathed after being ejected out of a car window during a collision on Sunday — but some of the adult passengers were not so lucky.

The 23-month old girl was thrown from the Honda sedan that was being driven south on Highway 35 by Jose Luis Gonzalez-Medina, 31, of Hood River. According to reports, Medina crossed the centerline of the roadway and was struck by a northbound pickup driven by Edwin Norman, 37, of Sweet Home.
