Tami Oldham Ashcraft will show slides and read from her book Red Sky in Mourning: A True Story of Love, Loss and Survival at Seat on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 4 p.m.

The reading will take place at the CAST Performing Arts Center in Hood River.
