CAST will be holding auditions for the holiday production of A Christmas Carol by Christopher Schario, based on the story by Charles Dickens, on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. and Sunday, Sept. 16, at 3 p.m. at the Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River.

Focusing on Dickens' powerful language, humor and warmth, this charming version of A Christmas Carol simply and directly tells the story of the redemption of a human soul. The play follows the ever-powerful story of the lonely miser Scrooge who, through the help of spirits and visions from his past, present and future, finds a second chance to become a loving, generous human being.
