New PRs for area swimmers at Oregon state swim meets

Skyla Hollowell (left), Amy Elliott, Michelle Graves, Marina Castaneda, and Max Graves competed for the Hood River Valley Swim Team last month at the Oregon Swimming Speedo 10-and-Under Short Course Championships in Springfield. Hollowell set personal records in two of three individual swims, and swam the third leg of a medley relay that placed 10th (Elliott, of Underwood, swam the anchor leg) in a showing that shaved more than seven seconds off the foursome’s seeding time.
