Bid awarded for Tohomish overlay project

Granite Construction submitted the low bid, according to Conroy, coming in at $97,611. The state Transportation Improvement Board is providing the funding for the project, which does not include any construction or infrastructure work.

“The cost is a bit higher,” Conroy noted, “because it’s a smaller project that we weren’t able to tack onto a larger project at this time.”

City Administrator/Public Works Director Pat Munyan Jr. said last Friday that Granite Construction planned to start work this week.
