The Stanfield Tigers bolted out of the gates with a 21-10 halftime lead and held off a late South Wasco County rally for a 31-22 win Friday in a girls’ hoops game in Stanfield.

Down by 11 points to start the second stanza, Molly Foreaker hit a 3-pointer, and Shelby Moody and Roxanne O’Neal chipped in a basket to make it 27-17 entering the fourth.
