The first meeting of the Wasco County Wolf Compensation Committee will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Dufur City Hall, 175 NE Third Street.

Ranchers Keith Nantz and Mike Filbin, along with wolf advocates Debra Lutje and Sherlene Brown will convene to select two representatives from the business community, as mandated by law, from seven applicants. These individuals will join the group that is headed by Steve Kramer, a county commissioner.
