Students learn to be ‘Internet awesome’

Students at The Dalles Middle School use hand-held signs to communicate true or false when asked about the internet during presentation of an Online Safety Roadshow developed for middle school students by Google that encourages kids to be “Internet Awesome.”

Students at The Dalles Middle School learned Tuesday how to be “Internet awesome” during an Online Safety Roadshow developed by Google.

The program has been touring the country for five years and has presented in every state, said team leader Matt Thielen.
