A 44-year-old male has been charged with four counts of unlawful delivery and possession of methamphetamine following Tuesday’s execution of a search warrant at his home in the Dalles by the Mid-Columbia Interagency Narcotics Taskforce.
Antonio Herrera was at the 308 West 14th Street residence when the law enforcement team arrived. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facilities after meth was allegedly found on the premises.
Wasco County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Williams said the investigation into the Herrera case is ongoing. He asks anyone with information about this or any other drug-related activity in their neighborhood to call the MINT tip line at 541-296-1855.
The arrest of Herrera follows eight others this fall.
On Oct. 13, MINT conducted a search at 806 Union Street in The Dalles that turned up meth and heroin.
James Earl Mulvaney, 22, was taken into custody at the house and charged with delivery and possession of illegal drugs, along with a probation violation.
An Oct. 5 search at 2232 West Eighth Street in The Dalles by MINT led to the arrest of resident Rodney Richard George, 28, for unlawful possession of heroin and meth.
George was leaving the premises in a vehicle with several other people when authorities arrived.
Also arrested at the scene were:
• Leesa Ann Combs, 37, who was charged with drug possession and frequenting a place where controlled substances are used;
• Sarah Helen Kristine Mosley, 23, charged with possession of heroin and frequenting;
• Robert Canfield Wusthoff, 41, charged with frequenting; and
• David Kyle Snodgrass, 32, charged with frequenting.
On the same day, MINT arrested Steven Haracourt, 42, after searching his motorhome, which was parked hear Post Canyon Drive in Hood River County. Haracourt was charged with unlawful possession of meth, possession and delivery of heroin, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a restricted weapon.
He was also lodged at NORCOR.
The October arrests followed the Sept. 23 search of a vehicle in the 3600 block of West Sixth Street in The Dalles. Arrested at the scene was Dalene Ann Dews, 36, on charges for illegal drug possession and delivery. In addition, she was charged for being a felon in possession of a weapon.
The Klickitat County Sheriff’s office then executed a search warrant on Dew’s residence at 502 Fourth Street in Dallesport. Charges are expected in Washington in connection with that search, although MINT has released no further details.
In each of these cases, Williams said officers from local law enforcement agencies assisted MINT members with investigations.
MINT is comprised of officers from The Dalles Police Department, deputies from the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office and Wasco County Sheriff’s office, as well as support from the Oregon National Guard Counterdrug Task Force.
MINT serves Wasco, Hood River and Sherman counties.
