Oct. 21, 1:03 a.m. — Single vehicle, non-injury crash, I- 84 westbound, milepost 76. Vehicle crashed and ended up facing the wrong way, with heavy front end damage and lots of debris. Vehicle was towed. The driver, Anuar Sanchez, was cited for no valid driver’s license, careless driving, cell phone, failure to provide proof of insurance and an open container.

Oct 18, 12:36 p.m. — Three vehicle, non-injury crash at 1021 W. 9th St. Vehicle was westbound when her dog jumped in her lap and she accidentally swerved, striking two parked cars. Driver Hahhah Catron cited for failure to maintain lane.
Oct. 19, 11:31 a.m. — Two vehicle non-injury crash at E. 10th and Thompson streets. Insurance information was exchanged.
Oct. 19, 2:25 p.m. — Two vehicle non injury crash at 3320 W. 6th St. Vehicle exiting the Bi Mart parking lot struck a second vehicle. Officer assisted with insurance information exchange.
Oct. 20, 10:35 a.m. — Two vehicle non injury crash at 12th and Dry Hollow Road. Officer assisted with exchange of insurance information.
The Dalles Police
A man reported the loss of his wallet following an Oct. 21 stay at the Comfort Inn on Lone Pine Drive.
A vehicle was reported in the lane of travel on E. 9th for at least 20 minutes the evening of Oct. 21. The driver was in the vehicle, and told officers the battery of her car had died. Officers pushed the car off the road.
A man with a mop handle was attempting to steal cans from a Home At Last donation trailer in the 500 block of E. Third St. in the early hours of Oct. 19. He was asked to leave, which he did.
A man reported his parked vehicle was hit by a car the night of Oct. 19. The driver of the vehicle left his name and insurance information, but the insurance was found to have expired. A report was taken.
A hit and run was reported at The Dalles High School the morning of Oct. 19. Suspect vehicle was a dark Jeep Wrangler with a Harley Davidson sticker on the back.
A woman reported a wallet stolen from her car in the 1100 block of E. 10th the evening of Oct. 19. A report was taken.
Cameron Jones, 21, was arrested on a Wasco County warrant for failure to appear in the first degree regarding six charges of possession and delivery of methamphetamine and lodged at NORCOR after an altercation in the 1000 block of Walnut Street the afternoon of Oct. 20.
A The Dalles man was arrested on a The Dalles municipal in the 2700 block of W. 7th following a domestic disturbance the afternoon of Oct. 20.
Theft of a purse and wallet from a vehicle in the 600 block of W. 10th was reported the morning of Oct. 21.
A woman reported theft from her vehicle in the 300 block of W. 10th St. the evening of Oct. 21. A purse was taken, with identification, debit cards and cell phone inside.
A male juvenile was cited for a warrant, minor in possession of tobacco, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and third degree theft and admitted Mid Columbia Medical Center the evening of Oct. 21.
Wasco County Sheriff
Deputies assisted the Klickitat County Sheriff’s Office with identifying ownership of a vehicle involved in a crash and abandoned the morning of Oct. 18.
Deputy investigated a complaint of unfed and multiplying cats in the 6000 block of Reservoir Road Oct. 18. Owner could not be located, two cats were noted on the property.
Theft of fuel was reported in the 4000 block of Skyline Road the morning of Oct. 18. After investigation, a man was arrested for both theft and criminal trespass in the second degree.
Mary Urieta, 33, was arrested the afternoon of Oct. 18 on a warrant in the 400 block of E. 7th St. and lodged at NORCOR.
A woman reported that her motorhome was damaged somewhere between The Dalles and Maupin the morning of Oct. 19, she had pulled off to do some hiking at various locations. A report was taken.
A man reported the afternoon of Oct. 19 that he had wired $1,900 to a real estate agent to rent a house on Hermits Way in The Dalles and was now unable to contact the Realtor. A case number was taken for fraud.
A woman reported two vehicles near her home in the 900 block of West Irvine St. were gone through early Oct. 20, but nothing taken. Officers were unable to locate suspect vehicle.
A man reported the morning of Oct. 21 that his car had been broken into in the 4800 block of Chenowith Creek Road. Missing items include an Ipad tablet, three different medications, and an overnight bag. Report taken.
A fanny pack a wallet containing a Washington drivers license was found in the restroom at Mayer State Park was turned in to law enforcement Oct. 21.
