A selection of Hood River’s toughest young wrestlers were in Parkrose last weekend for the 2015 Oregon Wrestling Association Kids State Folkstlye Championships. After the full day of wrestling, eight local boys found themselves on the podium and two were hailed state champions.

Noah Wachsmuth claimed his fifth straight state folkstyle title, this year in the Schoolboy 105 pound division, while his brother, Jeremiah, claimed his second straight title in the Intermediate 50 pound class. The two brothers were representing the Cobra All Stars club out of Portland.
