The Dalles and Hood River resume their Gorge baseball rivalry this week when the Class 4A Riverhawks host 5A Eagles on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Quinton Street Ballpark in baseball.

HRV won 5-4 at home last year in an April 7, 2023, baseball contest. The Riverhawks, guided by second-year Coach Pat Clark, will be seeking to snap a long losing streak in the series between the two area rivals. HRV has won 17 straight games between the two teams over the past seven years. The last time The Dalles beat HRV was in a 6-3 home win on May 13, 2016.
