SHERMAN CO. — The schedule makers were not kind to Sherman County’s baseball team, which opened its Special District 7 schedule April 4 with a double-header loss to No. 2 ranked Union. The Bobcats beat the Huskies, 15-5 and 22-2, snapping Sherman’s three-game win streak.

Sherman was scheduled to play No. 9 (Class 3A) Umatilla (6-2) at home April 9 and then host Enterprise (2-5) in an April 11 double-header.
