Roubaix Redux

The Gorge Roubaix returned for its third annual race this past weekend, and nearly 400 competitors signed up for the event – up from 250 last year – according to Chad Sperry, race organizer for Breakaway Promotions. The two-day event featured a road race from The Dalles to Mosier and back on Saturday, and a race on gravel roads southeast of The Dalles on Sunday. Sperry said that the event drew people from all over the world and that even“legendary mountain biker and former world champion Ned Overend” had signed up to compete.
