THE GORGE — There were 37 all-time records set over the six enrollment classifications at this year’s OSAA state track and field meet at Hayward Field in Eugene.
One of those records was set by Trout Lake junior Melody Stock, who won the 1500-meter run in a Class 1A state meet best of 4 minutes, 42.78 seconds. Her time also eclipsed her own school record in the event.
This season, Gorge athletes either tied or broke 32 school records in track and field. The Dufur High girls team was responsible for seven of the top marks. The Rangers’ new school records, and those of other schools set in 2026, are listed below.
