The game was originally scheduled to be played at The Dalles.
La Salle was led by Grant Ellison’s touchdown reception and TD run. The Falcons took the early lead on an interception return for a touchdown in the game’s opening drive.
The Riverhawks (2-2 SD2, 4-4 overall) will conclude the regular season with a 7 p.m. contest Oct. 27 versus the Estacada High Rangers (2-2 SD2, 3-5 overall) at Estacada. The Dalles is in a three-way tie for second place in the six-team league with Estacada and the Gladstone High Gladiators (2-2 SD2, 3-5 overall).
The top three teams in the league qualify for the 16-team state playoffs beginning Nov. 3. The Riverhawks can clinch a spot in the playoffs with a win on Friday. La Salle (4-0 SD2, 7-1 overall) has clinched a playoff berth.
