Football gives up 14-point fourth quarter lead

HRV Football dropped its homecoming game last week by a final score of 22-21 to Forest Grove. The Eagles were outscored 22-7 in the fourth quarter, leading to the 22-21 loss to the Vikings. Brandon Rivera (pictured) finished the game as the rushing and receiving leader in yards for the Eagles with 163 and 90. Rivera also tallied one rushing and one receiving touchdown against the Vikings.

After a 3-1 start to the season, the Hood River Valley football team has dropped two of its last three games, including last Friday’s home matchup against Forest Grove.

HRV built up a 14-0 lead heading into the fourth, but Forest Grove would go on to outscore the Eagles 22-7 in the fourth quarter to give the Vikings a 22-21 victory, spoiling the Eagles’ homecoming game.
