The Oregon Rally Group, on behalf of the Oregon Trail Rally, would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to the people of Wasco County, and particularly Dufur, for their continued support of our event. This year, we had over 50 competitor teams participate in the rally in Dufur, along with several hundred team support staff and event volunteers. The rally was a huge success, and continues to be a huge draw for both competitors and fans around the county.
As always the residents and businesses of Dufur showed their amazing small-town hospitality and kindness that make our visit each year such a true pleasure. We would especially like to thank the following individuals and groups for their efforts and contributions: Kramer's Market for keeping us all fed and watered, We 3 Coffee & Deli for keeping us caffeinated and providing discount coupons for all of our volunteers, the Dufur Parks & Recreation District for use of the Dufur Park as our service area, the Wasco County Roads Department for the roads we race on, Mayor Robert Wallace and the Dufur City Council, the City of Dufur, the courteous and professional members of the Wasco County Sheriff's Department, Stan Ashbrook for access through his property and providing the refueling station, the Clausen family for helping with set up and providing spectator areas, the Miller Ranch for letting us use part of their fields for spectators, and of course the residents who live on and near the roads we use for their continued understanding and patience.
Thank you all for your ongoing support, and we hope to continue our relationship with this community well into the future!
