The Dalles To the editor:
It has been over a year since I took the oath of office as The Dalles City Councilor Position 4. I have gained a considerable amount of knowledge regarding the workings of our local city government and I know that I have much more to learn. The experience to this date has been rewarding and I appreciate all the encouragement I have received from my supporters.
I am writing this letter to advise my constituents that I am available to talk with you on the second and fourth Fridays of each month in the City Hall Conference Room on the second floor of The Dalles City Hall.
I will be there from 2 through 4 p.m. It would be advisable to call in order to make sure I am there. I can be reached at 541-993-4645.
I am available to the citizens of The Dalles so that you may reach me for comments, supportive or non-supportive. I am one of your voices on the council and unless I hear from you as to how you feel about the matters before the council then I can only vote how I feel. I will also be available for you to request assistance for a situation you may be dealing with that pertains to the city. If I’m not able to assist you I will try to direct you to the persons or the department that can help you with your issue.
