Meagan Thomsen, of Hood River, and David Rummel, of Tacoma, Wash., have announced their engagement. They will be married Saturday, Sept. 27, in The Dalles.
The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Kristi Thomsen, of Hood River. She is a 2002 graduate of Hood River Valley High School and received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Portland in 2006.
She is currently working as registered nurse and clinical care coordinator at Providence Medical Group, Hood River Family Medicine Clinic.
The groom is the son of Rob and Terry Rummel, of Tacoma, Wash. He is a 2005 graduate of Stadium High School and earned his associate degree in automotive technology in 2006 from Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Ariz. He works as product support engineer for Pitney Bowes.
