THE DALLES — A crowd of all ages, genders and identities gathered downtown June 29 to celebrate the last day of Pride Month with the town's biggest rainbow event.

The all-day festival began with a morning parade, ending at Lewis and Clark Festival Park with a drag show — with stars traveling from as far away as Nevada — a resource fair, featuring nonprofits, groups and artisans from across the Gorge, and a bouncy castle for several dozen rainbow-clad children, who joined the crowd of a few hundred filtering between booths.
