Both the Beneficiary, Deutsche Bank National Trust Company as Trustee in trust for registered Holders of Long Beach Mortgage Loan Trust 2006-11, Asset-Backed Certificates, Series 2006-11, and the Trustee, Nathan F. By this reason of said default the Beneficiary has declared all obligations secured by said Trust Deed immediately due and payable, said sums being the following, to-wit: The sum of $203,235.04 together with interest thereon at the rate of 10.62500% per annum from June 1, 2023 until paid; plus all accrued late charges thereon; and all Trustee’s fees, foreclosure costs and any sums advanced by the Beneficiary pursuant to the terms of said Trust Deed.
Wherefore, notice is hereby given that, the undersigned Trustee will on October 23, 2024 at the hour of 01:00 PM, Standard of Time, as established by Section 187.110, Oregon Revised Statues, inside the main lobby of the Hood River County Courthouse, 309 State St, Hood River, OR 97031 County of Hood River, sell at public auction to the highest bidder for cash the interest in the said described real property which the Grantor had or had power to convey at the time of the execution by him of the said Trust Deed, together with any interest which the Grantor or his successors in interest acquired after the execution of said Trust Deed, to satisfy the foregoing obligations thereby secured and the costs and expenses of sale, including a reasonable charge by the Trustee.
Notice is further given that any person named in Section 86.778 of Oregon Revised Statutes has the right to have the foreclosure proceeding dismissed and the Trust Deed reinstated by payment to the Beneficiary of the entire amount then due (other than such portion of said principal as would not then be due had no default occurred), together with the costs, Trustee’s or attorney’s fees and curing any other default complained of in the Notice of Default by tendering the performance required under the obligation or Trust Deed, at any time prior to five days before the date last set for sale.
Without limiting the Trustee’s disclaimer of representations or warranties, Oregon law requires the Trustee to state in this notice that some residential property sold at a Trustee’s sale may have been used in manufacturing methamphetamines, the chemical components of which are known to be toxic.
Prospective purchasers of residential property should be aware of this potential danger before deciding to place a bid for this property at the Trustee’s sale. In construing this notice, the masculine gender includes the feminine and the neuter, the singular includes plural, the word “Grantor” includes any successor in interest to the Grantor as well as any other persons owing an obligation, the performance of which is secured by said Trust Deed, the words “Trustee” and “Beneficiary” includes their respective successors in interest, if any.

Hood River Courthouse, Sheriff’s Office, and County Administrative Building Space Program Consolidation & Analysis
Hood River County seeks proposals from firms qualified to provide space program and preliminary cost estimates for a consolidated County Public Safety / Administration Building and Courthouse.
Proposals will be received until 5:00 PM local time, Thursday, August 22 at Hood River County Office at 601 State Street, Hood River, OR 97031. Qualification Statements will be scored and ranked, and finalists will be invited to interview in person. The full QBS RFQ can be found under Public Notices & News at www.hoodrivercounty.gov.

Notice is hereby given that a ballot title and explanatory statement for a measure referred by the COLUMBIA GORGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE has been filed with the Elections Office of Wasco County, Oregon on July 19, 2024. The measure will be presented to the qualified voters of the district at the General Election held on November 5, 2024. The election will be conducted by mail pursuant to ORS 254.465.
The ballot title caption is: BONDS TO INCREASE ACCESSIBILITY; MAKE FACILITY AND SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS. A full copy of the ballot title and explanatory statement can be found on the Wasco County website in the Elections section, or in the Wasco County Clerk’s office located at 511 Washington St., Ste. 201, The Dalles, OR 97058
Per ORS 255.155 and ORS 251.285, any elector dissatisfied with the ballot title or explanatory statement may petition the Wasco County Circuit Court for review not later than the seventh business day after the title is filed with the Elections Officer. The last day to file a review is July 30, 2024. The challenger must notify the Wasco County Elections Office not later than 5:00 p.m. on the next business day following the day the petition for review is filed.
The measure will be published in the State Voters’ Pamphlet for Wasco and Hood River counties. Voters who wish to submit a measure argument may do so by contacting the Wasco County Clerk’s Office. Deadline to submit an argument is Friday, August 23, 2024 not later than 5:00 pm.

White Salmon has prepared draft amendments to their Heritage Tree Ordinance to become a separate Tree Protection Ordinance, along with targeted incentives to retain mature trees, as encouraged by the City’s adopted Community Forest Management Plan and initial comments provided by the community, City Tree Board and Planning Commission. SEPA Threshold Determination
White Salmon has determined that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement is not required under the State Environmental Policy Act, RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This determination of nonsignificance (DNS) was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency and available upon request.
This determination is issued pursuant to WAC 197-11-340(2). White Salmon will not act on this proposal for 14 calendar days from the date of issuance. The SEPA comment and appeal period runs from July 10th, 2024 to July 24th, 2024.
Public Hearing
A public hearing, with a virtual / telephonic attendance option, will be held during the Planning Commission meeting on Wednesday August 28th at 5:30 PM or as soon thereafter as possible. The hearing will be located in the City Council Chambers, 119 NE Church.
