Dani Annala, 4-H Program Coordinator, and Lauren Kraemer, Extension Family and Community Health, each received recognition for their program work at Oregon State University, Hood River Extension Service.

Annala was honored with the Hoecker Newer Faculty Award which recognizes OSU faculty members with less than seven years of service for the outstanding achievements as Extension educators. Through her efforts Annala has increased the 4-H program membership by 400 percent in the last three years, demonstrated administrative leadership in effectively managing the Extension Office as county lead, and she is very well respected by volunteers, faculty and staff alike as one of the outstanding 4-H faculty in Oregon State.
