A crash Monday morning on Interstate 84, just west of Hood River, left nobody injured. A Hood River man was driving to Portland to get maintenance work done on his blue Mazda Rx-8 when the car’s fuel injectors gave out. The vehicle spun out at about Milepost 60 and struck the center median. However, authorities on scene said nobody was harmed in the collision. Oregon State Police, Hood River and West Side Fire Districts responded, and closed one lane of traffic for less than an hour, until the dented Mazda could be towed back to Hood River.
