Nearly half of American pet owners (45%) have turned down travel opportunities that can’t accommodate their pet, according to new research.

It’s no surprise why: The survey of 2,000 pet owners found that 73% are more likely to take a road trip instead of flying specifically so they can bring their four-legged family member.
