New Yorkers pride themselves on being unfazed, and this September might be the one that tests it. The U.S. Open championship weekend, the opening of Fashion Week, the start of Rosh Hashanah and the 25th anniversary of 9/11 all fall between Sept. 10 and 13, sharing the same sidewalks, subway cars and Saturday night dinner reservations. That’s four days, and the rest of the month hasn’t even started.
