THE DALLES — Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue was called to two building fires over the weekend in The Dalles area.

Personnel first responded to a shop fire at 35 Tidyman Rd. in Dallesport Saturday at 1:56 p.m. The structure was a 30 by 50 feet pole building with a second floor in the rear.
