Attorney Jennifer Hinman of The Dalles was presented with the Juvenile Advocacy Award at a Juvenile Continuing Legal Education event in Portland.
Hinman was recognized for her advocacy on behalf of delinquent and dependent children by an award from the Juvenile Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.
The Juvenile Department of Wasco County nominated Hinman for an Advocacy Award for her collaborative work with the families and community partners in her representation of children.
As read by Washington County Judge James Fun, Hinman was honored as “a thoughtful and vigorous advocate that routinely met with her client’s foster parents, teachers, counselors and friends’ parents.”
Fun described Hinman as “an attorney who has earned the confidence of the legal community and her clients.”
She was congratulated by members of the Mid-Columbia Bar Association.
