Share this article paywall-free Email Copy Link Construction of the runway shift project at the Ken Jernstedt Airfield had planned to resume April 1 following the winter shutdown.The 30-day runway closure that was scheduled to begin on April 1 will not occur, and operations continue as normal.Spring weather conditions are not conducive for construction activities to resume.The Port of Hood River will inform airport users and the public when a revised construction schedule is identified.
