HOOD RIVER — Special Olympics Hood River will host its third annual Polar Plunge on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. at the Waterfront Park. All proceeds will benefit athletes in the Gorge.
Please note that you do not have to plunge to participate in fundraising.
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, offering opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy alongside their families and the community. Polar Plunge funds provide essential uniforms, transportation, and lodging for local and state events. Our athletes compete in a variety of sports, including basketball, skiing, snowboarding, basketball, golf, bocce ball, soccer, and corn hole (new!).
Thank you to our presenting and organizing sponsor: Mid-Columbia Association of Realtors. We are also grateful for the generosity of our local business sponsors:
