HOOD RIVER — Cooper Spur Alpine Team (CSAT) is celebrating its 46th year as a local nonprofit organization. For the last four decades, CSAT has brought youth ski and mountain bike programming to Columbia Gorge kids. CSAT currently runs development, race and freeski programs at Mt. Hood Meadows and after-school mountain bike programs in Post Canyon.

This year, CSAT will be hosting the Cooper Spur Saloon and invites everyone to an evening with BBQ, live music, dancing, and auction items on Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Hood River Elks ballroom. Tickets are $35 and include dinner, with all proceeds benefiting CSAT. Buy tickets at cooperspuralpineteam.org or at the door (if available).
