On Thursday, Sept. 12, the Dallesport/Murdock Community Council is holding a “Candidate’s Night” and the public is invited to meet all the candidates for the position of Klickitat County Commissioner. This event will begin at 7 p.m. at the Dallesport Community Center, 136 Sixth Ave., Dallesport.
All Klickitat County residents are welcome. No online attendance option will be available.
Skamania County Chamber will be holding a candidate’s forum Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 6–8 p.m. at the Rock Creek Hegewald Center in Stevenson. This forum will include candidates for Country Commissioner in districts 1 and 2, State Representative position 2, State Senator, and US House Representative district 3. Submit business-relevant questions to angie@skamania.org. Submission deadline is Sept. 20.
Skamania County Forums continue Oct. 4 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Underwood Community Center, 951 School House Road (moderated by the Underwood Community Center committee) and Oct. 11, also from 6:30-8 p.m. at the American Legion Cape Horn Post 10221 Washougal River Road, Washougal (moderated by the Legion Hall committee).
The League of Women Voters will host a virtual Klickitat County Candidates forum for County Commissioner in districts 1 and 3 on Oct.. 8 at 7 p.m. on its YouTube channel. The forum is co-sponsored by Columbia Gorge News. Send questions for candidates to forms.gle/t8GKVW8aZGXvtyct7.
