HOOD RIVER — The City of Hood River thanks everyone who came out and voted this election and is grateful to voters for passing Measure 14-86 to renovate the city’s police station. Our current police station is outdated and undersized. The resources from Measure 14-86 will fund upgrades to expand the space for future growth, address health and safety hazards, and increase accessibility. Thank you for supporting this investment in the officers who keep our city safe.

While voters chose not to pass Measure 14-85 to fund new affordable housing in our city, the City of Hood River remains committed to addressing our community’s housing needs. Housing that is affordable continues to be a critical need in our community. As we seek new opportunities to make housing more attainable for residents, we will share those plans with the community in the future.
