The Dalles football team defeated La Pine High on Sept. 6 at Sid White Field in The Dalles.

It was a tough week for The Dalles High Riverhawks (2-2) as they lost their second straight Class 4A nonleague football contest, 56-0, to the No. 2-ranked Philomath High Warriors (3-0) at Philomath High School.

The Warriors dominated the contest, outgaining the Riverhawks in total offense, 404 yards to 64. The Riverhawks’ offense was led by senior quarterback Leighton Voodre (6-for-21 passing, 64 yards) and junior receiver Zac Greene (two catches, 40 yards).
