Pet of the Week: Ki is athletic, gentle and devoted

Ki and his dear sister, Skyler, were very sadly surrendered by their owner because he is no longer able to care for them and asked us for help. Skyler found a wonderful home a few weeks ago, but Ki is still looking. He’s in a foster home and they say he’s doing very well and has adapted to his sister leaving like a pro. He has other dogs to walk and romp with, and is especially playful with their youngest. Those two have a blast together! Even with the small dogs, Ki seems to know how much bigger he is and will be more gentle and will lower himself to their height and let them run all over him!

Ki is an athletic dog, up for long hikes, car rides, or just playing around! He’s used to the good life, so plenty of pets and cuddle time are a natural for this guy ... and he knows lots of basic commands, so smarts are on his side! And just one look into those deep, beautiful eyes and you feel like he’s been yours for forever! He has so much he wants you to know, he just needs a chance!

Ki is housetrained, current on shots, microchipped and neutered. He’d love to go to a home with another dog, or at least lots of play dates with other dogs. The adoption fee for Ki is $195. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses.
