The Voci Community Choir and Columbia Gorge Sinfonietta Orchestra present the towering Mozart Requiem, featuring soloists from Pacific University. Although left incomplete at the time of his death, Mozart's sketches provided enough musical information for his students to complete the entire Requiem, which has become one of the most beloved works in Western music. ‘Wildlands’ benefit Nov. 6
A benefit fundraiser for environmental group Cascadia Wildlands at Double Mountain Brewery is on Thursday Nov. 6, from 7-10 p.m. Cascadia Wildlands, is a nonprofit organization that works to restore and safeguard wildlife, waterways and public wilderness throughout the Cascades. The event will feature music by local bands The Greenneck Daredevils and Kitchen Table — and a silent auction will be set up to help raise funds.
