Salmon, Steelhead and Shad:
Gorge Bank:
Weekly checking showed 308 shad kept for 47 shad anglers.
Gorge Boats:
Weekly checking showed 80 shad kept for three shad boats (10 anglers).
Troutdale Boats:
No report.
Portland to Westport Bank:
Weekly checking showed three adipose fin-clipped jack Chinook and 14 adipose fin-clipped steelhead kept, plus three adult spring Chinook released for 134 bank anglers.
Portland to Westport Boats:
Weekly checking showed no catch for five steelhead boats (13 anglers); and 35 shad kept, plus 28 shad released for seven boats (13 anglers).
STURGEON:
Sturgeon anglers fishing the Portland to St. Helens area averaged 1.20 legal white sturgeon caught per boat, while anglers fishing the estuary averaged 0.36 legal white sturgeon caught per boat. On Saturday’s (5/18) flight, 211 sturgeon boats were counted from Marker 82 in the gorge downstream to Tongue Point, and 24 Oregon bank anglers were counted.
Gorge Boats (below Marker 82):
Weekly checking showed 19 sublegal sturgeon released for four boats (13 anglers).
Troutdale Bank:
No report.
Troutdale Boats:

Portland to Westport Bank:
Weekly checking showed no catch for three bank anglers.
Portland to Longview Boats:
Weekly checking showed 35 legal white sturgeon kept, plus 24 legal and 247 sublegal sturgeon released for 50 boats (132 anglers).
Estuary Boats (Puget Island to Buoy 10):
Weekly checking showed 21 legal white sturgeon kept, plus one legal, eight oversize and 180 sublegal sturgeon released for 61 boats (185 anglers).
The Dalles Pool:
Weekly checking showed one sublegal sturgeon released for one bank angler; and two oversize and 44 sublegal sturgeon released for five boats (12 anglers).
John Day Pool:
Weekly checking showed no catch for 20 bank anglers; and five sublegal sturgeon released for six boats (six anglers).
