Valley Christian announces worship schedule for Easter
Hood River Valley Christian, 975 Indian Creek Road, has announced upcoming Holy Week and Easter services as follows:
March 20 — Palm Sunday celebration 10:30 a.m. with parade of palms
March 24 — Maundy Thursday worship, 7 p.m.
March 26 — “The Hoppening” Easter story and egg hunt for all ages, 10-11 a.m.
March 27 — Easter Sunday: Early worship, 8:30 a.m.; breakfast (free-will donation) 9:15-10 a.m.; Easter worship, 10:30 a.m.

Pine Grove-Odell UMC Holy Week scheduled
Holy Week services at the Pine Grove-Odell United Methodist Church sites are as follows:
March 20 — Palm Sunday, 10 a.m. in the Pine Grove Sanctuary, located at corner of Eastside and VanHorn
March 25 — Good Friday, 6 p.m. in the Odell Sanctuary, downtown Odell
March 27 — Easter Sunday, 10 a.m. in the Odell Sanctuary

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1501 Belmont Ave., announces its Holy Week schedule as follows:
Holy Thursday, March 24 — 5 p.m. English service
Good Friday, March 25 — Stations of the Cross, 3 p.m.; Veneration of the Cross, 5 p.m. in English and 7 p.m. in Spanish
Holy Saturday, March 26 — Vigil Mass, 8 p.m.
Easter Sunday, March 27 — 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Spanish; 10 a.m. in English
Vanguard Women’s choir at River of Life
The Vanguard Women’s Choir will present a concert at River of Life Assembly, located at 979 Tucker Road, on March 16 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Video series at Parkdale Baptist
A video series, “The Coming Economic Armageddon” by Rev. David Jeremiah, will be shown at the Parkdale Baptist Church, 6310 Dee Highway, on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. through May 8. Riverside offers ‘meditation time’
Riverside Community Church (UCC) invites community members to drop in for a time of silent meditation on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8 to 8:45 a.m.
“In the midst of our busy, noisy world, we seek to offer a place of refuge for people to gather in stillness and silence — to pray, meditate, and create space for the presence of the Holy,” said Riverside’s pastor Rev. Vicky Stifter. The time of meditation takes place on the first floor of the church — located at Fourth and State in Hood River. No experience is necessary and all are welcome.
