The local band Funkship hosted a Mardis Gras dance party and parade in Bingen on Saturday. Members of Funkship as well as local rhythm band Samba Hood Rio led the parade through downtown Bingen before arriving at the Bingen Theater, located at 210 Oak St., to begin the party.

Funkship members Kyandron Hennehan and Jennifer Hanlon-Wilde harmonize during the performance. Members dressed up in pink and flamingo-themed outfits, celebrating the passing of Mardis Gras last Tuesday.
