The Wasco County Clerk's Office is pleased to announce its move to a new location in the Wasco County 3rd Street Building (across from Wells Fargo Bank). This move will improve services and convenience for residents.
The Clerk's Office will officially open its doors at its new location on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. The new address is: 401 E. 3rd St., Ste. 100, The Dalles, OR 97058.
The office's phone number, 541-506-2530, and website, co.wasco.or.us/departments/clerk, will remain the same.
We will begin to start moving office equipment and personnel immediately, however, we do not anticipate any disruption of services. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this change and look forward to serving you better.
"We are excited about this move and the opportunity to better serve the citizens of Wasco County," said Chrissy Zaugg, Wasco County Clerk. "The new location offers additional transparency of the elections process and improved ease of access for our customers. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our new office."
The Wasco County Clerk's Office is responsible for real estate recordings, conducting elections, issuing marriage licenses and facilitates the Property Value Appeals Board. The County Clerk is not a part of the Oregon State Circuit Court System, which will remain at the Wasco County Courthouse located at 511 Washington St. For court related services contact the Trial Court Office 541-506-2700.
