‘I Can’t Sing’ Chorus inspires new talent

HOOD RIVER — With just a once-a-week practice, Harmony of the Gorge women’s chorus’ new “I Can’t Sing” chorus is bringing back the joy and fun of singing for everyone, even those who haven’t sung since grade school.

“All voices, ages, and ranges of experience are invited to become part of this new chorus, as we have fun using a variety of vocal techniques to help all participants enjoy joining in song together,” said Judy Galloway, director of the Harmony of the Gorge. “The first session will be a combination of enjoying simple rhythms, learning how to match pitch, and singing some familiar melodies.”
