Happy 100th birthday, Opal!

Opal Timmel will celebrate her 100th birthday on April 29, 2026.

Opal Dee May Miller Timmel will be celebrating 100 years young on April 29, 2026. She was born in Maysville, Oklahoma, the fifth of seven children and the last of her siblings, including Gale May of The Dalles. She moved to The Dalles from Hermiston in 1992 and resided at Pomona Meadows. She attended the Evangelical Church while living in The Dalles. She moved in 2008 to Scappoose to be closer to her daughter. The family will be gathering to celebrate her birthday on May 2.Â
