HOOD RIVER — The History Museum of Hood River County, in collaboration with consultant Juan Reyes and artist Michelle Yamamoto, shares the newest addition to the museum’s permanent collection, Nuestras Raíces (Our Roots) Latino history exhibit.

WHITE SALMON —  The fourth annual El Grito will return to Rheingarten Park on Sept. 14 with free music, food and family activities as the community kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month, according to a press release from Washington Gorge Action Programs (WAGAP). 

The last of the Families in the Park concert series took place Aug. 28 with Hit Machine. People of all ages packed into Jackson Park in Hood River every Thursday in August to enjoy a lineup of free, family-friendly concerts.
