WHITE SALMON — White Salmon American Legion Post 87 and Elks Lodge 1868 will perform an American flag retirement ceremony at the Pioneer Cemetery (behind Harvest Market) on Flag Day, Saturday June 14, at 4 p.m.

They will conduct a patriotic ceremony to fittingly retire old, worn U.S. Flags submitted by citizens of Klickitat County. In addition, eight historical American flags will be displayed, and each flag’s unique service to America will be described. All community members are invited to attend.
