Good news for holiday shippers: To help smooth the mailing of gift packages and Christmas cards, the White Salmon post office will be open on two Saturdays before Christmas.

On Dec. 9 and Dec. 16, the teller windows at the post office in town will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
