St. Mark's Episcopal Church hosts "In Turbulent Times: A Lenten Series," beginning today from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the church, 11th and Eugene streets in Hood River. The series continues every Wednesday through March 20.

Tonight, the Most Rev. Edmond L. Browning, Presiding Bishop of the U.S. Episcopal Church from 1986-98, will present the first in the Lenten series, "The Holy Land: History of Conflict, Seeking Reconciliation."
