Pinecrest Church of the Nazarene, 255 NE Rhine Village Dr. in White Salmon, will be hosting this year's annual community-wide Thanksgiving Service on Sunday evening, Nov. 22.
This long-established, annual gathering of giving thanks to God for his tremendous blessings will focus not only on giving Him thanks, but also on making a community-wide connection between area residents and the local churches.
The local Evangelical Pastors' Association (EPA), is sponsoring the event and as always, is extending this invitation to everybody in the White Salmon/Bingen area including all of the surrounding communities.
The association encourages the public to invite family or friends who may be visiting, to join during this special holiday time.
The evening of thanksgiving will begin at 6 p.m. It will include a time of coming together as a community to celebrate the blessings of God with a grateful heart.
In addition to an inspiring time of worshipful singing led by the Pinecrest worship team, there will also be an encouraging and uplifting message presented by the host pastor, Jim Beattie.
Special music and powerful testimonies will be presented by many people of the community in addition to those who attend the participating churches.
The evening will conclude with refreshments and pie while attendees take time to visit with others who are in attendance.
