Smile while looking at art

"Smiles," an invitational humor show, features a wide range of works from 15 local artists. Animals are a common subject, but people show up, too. There are prom dresses, a diamond, an alien sighting, moons and planets, a school of fish all hooked (on cigarettes), a fisherman who has landed himself, and plenty more imaginative pieces sure to bring a chuckle to the day.

"Looking into the Future" is an exhibit of work, mostly pottery, done by eight seniors at The Dalles High School. Organizing and putting together their show has provided the students with opportunities to fulfill three of five required conditions for Certificate of Advanced Mastery (CAM) certification.
