Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. is a junior high volleyball game with Klickitat here at the Glenwood High School. Tuesday, Sept. 29, there is a high school volleyball game in Trout Lake with Lyle.
Sept. 28 through Oct. 2 is bus ridership week. Please ride the bus every morning. That is when the state gets the formula for the school funding. Thanks.
Sept. 26 and 27, the Senior Class is holding its wood cutting. Anyone who needs wood for the winter, go visit the seniors and support their senior trip.
Six of local ladies went to the beach -- Chris Anderson, Chris Miller, Lonnie Dean, Margrett Throop, Terry Arnold and Marlene Dewey. The first day they went to Spirit Mountain in Grand Ronde. Then off to Lincoln City to see the Beach Boys and have a wonderful seafood lunch at Kylos. The ladies had such a wonderful time.
The 8th annual Fun Prize Ride is this weekend, Sept. 27. The first horse is out at 10 and the last one at 12 noon. There will be a couple rides that last from an hour and half to three hours. When they come back in there will be hamburgers, kielbasas, baked beans and dessert. Prizes will be given out at 3. The prizes are donations and if you would like to donate something for this, organizers will gladly take donations until noon that day. You do not need to have a horse or ride to be included in on the activities, just come down to the rodeo grounds and join in on the fun.

There is going to be a large garage sale at Mt. Adams Lodge (the old Flying L Ranch) on Saturday, Sept. 26.
Dakota Jones and Kaitlyn Masden placed second in their age divisions at the posse club buckle series in White Salmon on Sept. 13. They won halters and spur straps. On Sept. 12, Kaitlyn Masden won a buckle at the Broken Spur rodeo in Goldendale.
