Trout Lake/Glenwood’s girls track and field team won nine of 18 events and set a new scoring record on its way to winning its third consecutive WIAA Class 1B state championship last weekend in Cheney.

The TLG girls scored points in 11 events and finished with 125 points—19 more than they tallied during the 2008 state meet on the campus of Eastern Washington University—in winning by 48.
